Virtual Trade Monitor MT4 Indicator Options

1. AutoDetectPairs (true/false). If set to true, the Virtual Trade Monitor will test, if your broker supports the original currency pair set or the alternative and selects the appropriate one. If set to false it will use the alternative (IBFX) pairs, but you can overwrite them under “Custom Sell Pairs” and “Custom Buy Pairs”. Which pairs are currently used is shown in brackets in the line below “Virtual Trade Monitor” (near the top right corner of the chart)

2. ShowJumps (true/false). If set to true, the jumps will be shown visually by lines and arrows. This is maybe one of the most important features of the Virtual Trade Monitor, as it shows how the pairs are moving after the jump!

3. DisplayJumpInfo (true/false). If set to true Virtual Trade Monitor will show below the sums of the sell/buy pairs extra informations about the last jump. Especially the time that passed since the jump happened (e.g. if you don’t sit in front of your computer all the time). In combination with the ShowJumps setting, it is a nice tool to monitor the movement of jumping pairs.

4. ShowJumpAlert (true/false). If set to true, you’ll will be informed about every jump through an alert box (with sound).

5. ShowBaskedBackground (true/false). If set to true, the background of the basket indicator will be colored in red (sell pairs) and green (buy pairs). This is just to give a better visual impression and makes it easier to differ between the upper “sell zone” and the lower “buy zone”. You can of course set it to false to turn the background shading off.

6. Custom SELL pairs and Custom BUY pairs can be used only if AutoDetectPairs is set to false! By default the alternative set of pairs is used, but you can put in your own pairs of course.

    Dear FMTI Team,

I trade on the MT4 and also trade Forex Binary options. My main pair is the USDCHF. I use a 4 hour time period and trade the trend well in the money when trading binaries from GMT00:00 to end of day. I would trade with tighter strike prices if I have a better idea of the direction of the day. I have used many indicators but which one or two would be the best indicators for the way I trade the trend from your group of indicators. I would have called you but I didn’t have your phone or skype contact. Thanks in advance for your help.

It really depend on you, many indicators helps to detect trend. We are trying to offer the best solutions, but you need to find indicator which works the best with your strategy and your trading style.

I think Multi Trend Signal MT4 Indicator is very easy to use:

But you need to know how RSI, CCI, MA works, to use some of those signals.

If you need to detect only general trend you can use MAs, they rocks.

We don’t have time for phone support since this is some kind of volunteer organization.

    Thank you

Care to elaborate on what exactly this indicator is doing / calculating? How is it calculating the profits. What’s the purpose of the line separating the top half from the bottom half? What does it mean when one jumps from the top half to the bottom half? Do I trade only the top half?

Please explain the inner workings of this indicator.

I would be interested in reading a pdf on this indicator to understand how to use it effectively. Is this supposed to be a robot, or just another tool? What makes a jump? Does the position that the pair jumps to have a meaning? Is a jump to No.1 more significant that a jump to No.7?

Please explain how to use this indicator, thanks in advance.
